What to expect
A diverse outdoor playgroup with a selection of garden toys, mud kitchens, messy and sensory play, sports equipment, ride-on toys including a range of Scuttlebugs, cars and trikes, plus a dedicated baby area.

Your little ones are free to play, explore, create and have fun in the company of other similar-aged local children in a safe and welcoming space.
Held within the well-maintained grounds of Sanderstead Village Lawn Tennis Club at the heart of Sanderstead Village, South Croydon - your local family-friendly tennis and social club.
How much does it cost?
Price includes the attending adult(s):
Baby (under 1): £2.50 per child
Child (1-5): £6.50 per child
Siblings (1-5) / Messy Club Attendee* (1-5) / Childminder (1-5): £4.50 per child
* If you attended Messy Club on the Saturday before the Little Aces session you're booking for, you get £2 off Little Aces on the following Thursday. This will be cross-checked by your Little Aces host.
What's included?
Up to 2 hours of outdoor play with a diverse range of toys and equipment
A fruit snack for the little ones
Unlimited refreshments for the adults. Please bring your own cup / travel mug.
What shall I wear?
There will be some messy play including mud kitchens, sand, playdough and water. Best not to wear your Sunday best! The grass can be moist in the mornings so please bear that in mind. Don't forget sunhats, rainsuits, wellies, SPF, etc. as per the weather. A change of clothes is advised - just incase! Toys are set-up on the grass, patio and tennis court. When wet, the path leading up to the club can be muddy.
What happens if it's raining?
Come (light) rain or shine, we'll be there (but just not in adverse weather conditions/heavy rainfall). Please keep an eye on our social media for live updates. We will text and email all attendees who have pre-booked if the session is cancelled. Your pre-booked session will be refunded or transferred.

Tennis Coaching for Children Over 5
We welcome children 5+ to join in our junior tennis coaching that will be held at the club during the Little Aces session. Racquets can be provided, if required.
Please note, Little Aces outdoor playgroup is insured to provide an adult and toddler activity group for ages 5 and under. The playgroup is set-up with age appropriate equipment. Older siblings can attend at their own and the attending adults risk. We ask adults to ensure they do not use the equipment/toys or interfere with the play of Little Aces attendees.

UNDER 5'S MESSY PLAY
What is Messy Play?
Messy Play inspires curiosity, exploration of the world around them and enhances learning, language and creativity. It promotes varied play types in a social, fun and safe environment.
What to expect
Themed messy play trays will be set-up with various non-toxic and taste safe ingredients and equipment for little ones to explore and, well, make a mess of! Materials used include painted/dyed pasta and rice, foam, water, cereals, washable paints and more.
What to wear
Clothing you don't mind making a mess in! This can be old clothes, a rain suit or a vest and nappy, for example. Just remember to wear a big smile and have lots of fun! Adults, we recommend you bring a spare pair of socks if you are intending on getting involved. Playdough and rice can stick!

JUNIOR GROUP TENNIS COACHING SESSIONS
Held at the club on Saturday mornings with DBS checked coaches provided by MDL Coaching. Bring your little ones along. Their first coaching session is FREE.
9.30am - 10.30am Red Ball Group - ages 5-8 (same time as Messy Club)
10.30am - 11.30am Orange Ball Group - ages 8-11
11.30am - 12.30pm Green Ball Group - ages 11-13
12.30pm - 1.30pm Yellow Ball Group - ages 13-18
